Changsha Xianing New port is one of the 28 main ports of inland river that are specified by Ministry of Communications. The Port covers a total area of 75ha. The 1st and 2nd phase have been constructed and put into operation, and the 3rd phase has been ranked into national “Eleventh Five-Year” plan and key planning projects of the Province and City.
At present, the 3rd phase construction project of Changsha Xianing New Port intends to look for strategic partners for development construction. The Project is in Jinxia group of Changsha Jinxia Economic Development Zone. The Port covers an area of 26.87ha. It plans to construct 5 thousand-ton berths (including 2 multifunctional berths and 3 cargo berths) and special railway of the port area. Total coastline of the Port is 340 meters.
Currently, formality of land use is being gone through. The Park will provide policy support for relevant industries of the Project. |
